So heart breaking and true. My 28 year old is autistic and has ADHD. Attending uni classes online is hard. Having the rules change all the time is hard. Feeling stupid for being anxious all the time is hard. Losing the small amount of agency you had struggled for is hard. Being the mother is hard when all you can do is hold them and say "I know it's hard. I love you." My heart goes out to you all.
This is a very important message and Jane's son could very well be mine. My son has suffered enormously. Has been bullied and assaulted at school by a teacher. I have torn my hair out trying to help him. He gets his first assessment in June as I strongly believe he has Autism and ADHD.
