Thank you for this very important investigation, the allergy thing and impossibleness to avoid the whites (ha!) had been on my mind too.
However because of you going the extra mile in your journalism, I feel reassured EXCEPT now I am imaging a trailer for “PATRICK GOWER: ON EGGS” and it is terrifying
Why on earth would you order an omelette at a fancy ass restaurant? Don't get me wrong, I like a good omelette, but if I'm going out to somewhere fancy I'm gonna get something fancy....especially if I have an allergy?!
Floriditas makes the best poached eggs in the world and I will FIGHT anyone who says different because I've eaten poached eggs everywhere I go just so I can test this prognosis. You are welcome.
I wish I could have seen you trying to be mad at Laura that is hilarious. <3
Great read, I might have laughed so hard at the bit about not enjoying finding out about the umbilical cord while eating an egg that my poor breastfeeding baby got un- latched and cried. Good to finally get to bottom of this yoke omelette thing. 😂
Thank you for this vital reporting! Hilarious _and_ factual with a side of commonsense - it ticks all the boxes, Emily!
I am disappointed in James and his wife - this incident indicates that both of them are exhibiting very odd behaviour. Maybe he's/they're regretting his decision to end his run on The Late Late Show and acting out as a result?
Thanks for the investigative mahi you have put in here. It’s mind blowing that someone would order an egg omelette when they have allergies, it sounds like a terribly difficult individual and stressful situation for the restaurant. I have been to Balthazar in New York, it was a truly wonderful brunch, the eggs were poached perfectly and the staff were attentive and efficient. When I heard this story I knew it would be the customer at fault, some rich people have zero class. I may never eat at Balthazar again as I am unlikely to have the money to travel again any time soon, but if given the chance would go back in a heartbeat.

Right? Omelettes aren’t even the best way to eat eggs let alone the best food at a fancy restaurant.
I love this, it's so nuts! (Apologies if you have a nut allergy.) I hope he who wants only corden-bleurgh cuisine reads this piece!
😂😂😂
Stuff like this is why the internet is awesome.
Shit she's a real risk taker!!
Thank you for your investigative journalism 😍
I hate so much how he says he's 'really zen about it'
Omg me too lol
The stories about James Corden being an absolute shit stain just keep coming, huh.
Honestly, an egg is a perfect food and attempting to excise and/or ignore either the yolk or the white is sacrilegious imo.

So interesting! 🍳 Floriditas also my fave place in the World 💫 - one of the reasons I love visiting Wellington...
This is important and worthy journalism. Thank you for keeping to your ever-high standards 😁

Love it!! World news and local news all rolled into one headline, for the human interest section. More serious reporting, please!!
I had saved this email to read until now glad I did - it was like a soothing balm on the grinding morning commute ❤️
