Thank you so much for sharing this! It’s really helpful! And thank you so much to the person who mentioned the “point and shoot” thermometers on Grabone. I’ve always wanted one for the kids, but could never justify the price tag, so am getting one now! 💛
Not sure how old your kids are but we have a point and shoot and it’s really hard to get an accurate reading on the 5 month old - he came up as temps of 39, 37 then 38 in a half hour period. If you can get one that also has an in ear reader, way more reliable for the little ones xx
Thanks for sharing all of that. Our whānau has covid right now and reading this makes me feel incredibly fortunate that, so far (maybe it's all about to change??) we're having a very mild experience of it. Our almost 2.5yo (now on day 6) went down first and absolutely she's had the worst run of it but thankfully bounced back within the first 40 hours. Naturally she now has more energy than any of us. Our single vaxxed 5yo (on day 2) has symptoms on and off and had a fever the first night and sore throat the second but managed with Pamol. She's doing the next most well. Hubby and I are triple vaxxed and both of us are having a similar fairly mild experience so far. But I'm only on day 3 and him day 2 so I feel like maybe we're actually in some very false sense of security right now... We intended to attempt to do some work from home today but I'm feeling that exhaustion people talk about so after reading all this my expectations are changing! Friend's and family have been amazing and we've had such lovely drop offs of snacks and activities for the kids which is so hugely appreciated and I'll certainly be doing the same for others!

Thanks very much for compiling this. I am so anxious about Long Covid, probably more than Covid itself
There’s a crowd sourced list compiled by Jenine Crossan who has suffered from Long Covid...
