This is so fantastic! I'm a nurse and I've been working through lockdown and feeling so stressed and vulnerable at the moment. My insomnia and anxiety has been really bad and I've been watching lots of ASMR vids but this will be a nice change! Thanks Emily, you always come up with the goods xx
I love Worlds Most Extraordinary Homes (you can find of YouTube) the homes are amazing but the two hosts have this sexual innuendo banter which is actually just wholesome and delightful. It’s British. Obvs.
I'm loving the Detectorists on Netflix. Just some lovely nerds pootling around with metal detectors in the English countryside with very little drama and lots of friendship.
For people with under 5's, I've just discovered Toot Toot Cory Carson - it's yet another car cartoon but is both adorable and hilarious, genuinely really funny even for the adults.
The Big Flower Fight. Yes, it's a competition but it's building giant floral sculptures and everyone is some kind of professional flower person. Everyone gets in trouble with the judges for helping out when one team has a sculpture disaster. One pair of contestants have the most amazing outfits. Another are a "Dad and Lad" doing the contest as a last hangout together before the son goes to uni. It's just... fun and lovely and the sculptures are glorious.
I like to dream of a self-sufficient life in the country, so my 6-year old and I love watching Country Calendar which is really inspiring and feel good for us (yes everyone in it is very white but we're trying not to think about that). Also really love Kiss the Ground on Netflix and all the short films on Happens Films about permaculture people building more sustainable lives and helping earth to regenerate, like this family up north that are living out of their amazing food forest as well as working with local Maori to grow food and develop the relationship with the land https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBPLrr9Hph0
This is exactly what I needed 🙏 also that cooking channel is the best. So relaxing
Are you kidding? Your A-level Mumming means you would have AAAAAALLLL the ducklings on the duck pond!

Also- Pasta Grannies on YouTube. Elderly folk share family pasta recipes and get interviewed about life and food.
Just been introduced to Liziqi on YouTube - very calming!
