Repair Shop. Every time. That battered shaving kit that is the only thing 75 year old Molly has left of her father, the plate that is the only thing Dolly has left of her mother, etc etc. EVERY TIME.
And the soft toys with wonky limbs that the cosy pink haired and fluffy jumpered lady sews up and talks to. Water works. I'm not sorry. BOnus, it's full of totty that can make things with their hands. PHWOAR
Heck yes. I have to tell myself things like, "he'd always be out in the shed fixing something for the neighbour and whispering sweet things to it and I'd be crying and wishing I was made of wood too" just to get down off the curtains. ;-)
For older people it has to include "The Repair Shop". Kind and clever mainly old people in an old barn fix old sentimental stuff for other people who are grieving even older ancestors.
Remember that episode of queer eye where they get a rescue dog for the old guy who hasn't had anyone at his home for years and years and you can see that they are just soulmates from the moment they meet 🥲🥲🥲
Oh god, me too. The episode where chilli talks about being in a baby race with the other mums? Sobbed. Sleepytime with bingo saying bye to her bunny? Lost it. Ridiculous that I’m that emotional watching a kids tv show 😂
OMG how did I not know One Born Every Minute was available on YouTube!! I literally cry through the whole program, happy tears, it is so good!! My partner does NOT get it 😆.
I have a whole lot of Handmaid’s Tale to catch up on but I find it a bit heavy while hapu/breastfeeding. So I watched Downton Abbey for the first time thinking it would be light... Jesus! So much to cry about. The second season of The Righteous Gemstones had me laughing so hard there were tears 😹
Fleabag Season 2 and that fucking Trustpower ad! Same same. Also, that bloody Spark ad where the kid googles what to do for Father’s Day for their mama. Kills me every time.
24 hours in A and E for me. I think both for the “what if that completely random accident happened to my husband/child/parent” and seeing the way that people find the courage to deal with the most horrible situations with calm and grace, and the way people are there for each other in those desperate moments.
Great recommendations, I definitely shed a few tears watching heartstopper 🥰 greys anatomy is my go to, I’ve watched every season and it gets me every time. Also great how it sort of keeps up with current events (their COVID season, mid pandemic, filmed in full PPE was amazing)
I don't watch much TV on purpose, except The Repair Shop, which we catch up on about once a month, and it occasionally makes a tear threaten my eye, I'll admit. But one time I saw (at work) what I assume was Bondi Vet and someone's cat had been POISONED with PANADOL and let me tell you, it was horrifying and made me irrationally worried mine might, I dunno, come upon some liquid paracetamol and accidentally kill themselves. Like, I think it makes it so their blood can't carry oxygen and they basically suffocate. I can't remember if I cried- the cat died- but I was traumatised for life. Does that count? Probably not

Yes this and also I cry about how sweet and pure woodworker Will is and that we will never be together but I hope he has the best life 🥲🥰

😹😹 so so true!!! Damn your earthy good nature and skill Will and your shining eyes full of pure wholesomeness 😭

Oh yes I just wrote that too!! So true!

Queer Eye gets me EVERY time
Omg yes how could I forget Queer Eye!
The English caught me off guard. Fleabag S2 - words fail me. It's everything :)
There is nothing like a good cathartic cry and casketeers and dog house both make me ball every time!
Oh and every single time Ryan has to kick someone off LegoMasters Australia and tears up, both my husband and I completely lose it 😭😭😭
Will Brickman cry has betting odds at our house! It makes my partner laugh when he tears up, but I cry along with Brickman every time.
Bluey. I shit you not, that 7 minutes of kids' TV will usually find a way to make me tear up, guaranteed!

Bluey - Sleepytime. I cry every time! Closely followed by Bike and Army.
Army makes me cry too - it’s so great
My flatmate and I used to have a “therapeutic cry date” watching Lost and Found every week 😂
OMG how did I not know One Born Every Minute was available on YouTube!! I literally cry through the whole program, happy tears, it is so good!! My partner does NOT get it 😆.
Shows with a dead family member - After Life, Never Have I Ever 😢
Fleabag didn't make me cry but I love it so much

Lost and Found is an all time fav. But lately, it’s been First Dates UK. The successful matches just get me every time!
