Thank you for this! My parents in NY got appointments to get the vaccine, I'm so excited for them! My sister has an appt too (severe asthma and a teacher so really needs it) and my brother has already had it (firefighter, so they lined them up and jabbed them all). Yay for vaccines!!
Hi Emily this is great! I’m going to share on Twitter. It’s so important to have sensible positive information out there. The anti vaccine sentiment is so troubling and dangerous..... and misguided. Thanks for this!
So well written - thank you Emily! I grew up in Asia and Africa in the 1970s and 80s and vividly remember seeing the effect of smallpox, measles, diphtheria, polio and so many other preventable diseases. I feel incredibly grateful both for the work of the many many scientists and for the fact that we live in a country with a govt-funded vaccination programme.
Hi Emily, this is awesome , thank you so much! Are you going to put it on Facebook so that we can share it, please? Val xx
Yes! It’s up now I’m just hoping it doesn’t descend into yelling!
I have reposted this ( and I expect flack ...)
